Job summary

Analytics Solutions in Celebration, FL is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join the SEAS Team, maintaining .NET apps while migrating to Java/Spring Boot. The role is onsite 2 days per week and involves collaborating with engineers, product partners, and cross-squad teams on mission-critical services.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software components, build REST middleware, and contribute to the migration effort with API parity considerations and production support.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have at least 7 years of related work experience.
• Mastery in Java with Spring, Tomcat, Nginx, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Angular and modern front-end development (TypeScript, component-based architecture, REST API integration).
• Exposure to C# and .NET (Framework and/or .NET Core).
• Ability to read, debug, and refactor legacy .NET codebases while delivering equivalent Java/Spring implementations.
• Comfortable in an agile environment with experience in Agile delivery (stand-ups, sprint planning).
• Experience with full lifecycle development including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Experience with build/deploy tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Harness CI/CD, and Docker.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Grafana, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration (AWS, Kubernetes, Rancher).
• Able to work well with external partners and contractors.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects encompassing analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software enhancements and/or new products.
• Perform testing and debugging of applications.
• Code at the component level for large or sophisticated software programs/systems.
• Collaborate with users to define system requirements and modifications.
• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable software components and new systems.
• Build and support REST middleware integrating enterprise consumers.
• Participate in design, testing, deployment, and production support of mission-critical scheduled jobs.
• Maintain and enhance existing .NET applications in the SEAS portfolio.
• Plan and execute migration of .NET services to Java/Spring Boot with API parity and cutover support.
