Job summary

CreateFuture is an AI-native consulting partner delivering digital products for organisations including PayPal, adidas, NatWest, FanDuel and Money Saving Expert. We are hiring a backend engineer to design, build and maintain scalable, secure Java systems using the Spring ecosystem, with a focus on microservices and REST APIs.

You will mentor engineers through coaching and feedback, lead technical design discussions, and collaborate across teams to ensure maintainable, high-performing solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot in microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
• Ability to design maintainable, scalable backend systems and mentor others.
