Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a Sr Associate Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain space command and control (C2) systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams across the full software lifecycle to deliver robust Java-based applications. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience, with opportunities to obtain a Security+ certification and US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 2+ years related experience; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification in less than 60 days.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
• At least 2 years of experience in Java full stack development.

Responsibilities

• Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle, creating software test procedures, developing software programs, preparing related documentation, conducting peer reviews, identifying, tracking, and resolving software defects
• Clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas
• Collaborate effectively with small teams of software engineers
• Develop software as a Java full stack engineer
