Job summary

Crown Point Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to modernize a mission-critical government application. You’ll upgrade and improve software, enhance system performance, and ensure applications remain secure and reliable, using Java, Python, Apache Solr, Tomcat, Oracle databases, and VMware.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver upgrades with minimal downtime, migrate Solr index data, document designs and configurations,

Qualifications

• 13+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 4 years of experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 6 years of experience.
• Strong experience developing enterprise Java applications.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience upgrading and maintaining Apache Solr (including Solr index migration) and Zookeeper.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat.
• Experience integrating with Oracle 19c or other relational databases.
• Experience with secure software development practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance ( U.S. Citizenship required ).
