Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Software Development Engineer IV in Dallas, onsite, to design, develop, and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered software applications and services. The role focuses on translating business requirements into robust technical specifications for scalable solutions using Java and C++ on Linux.

You will take ownership of system components, act as a technical lead on complex projects, produce documentation, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field required or Bachelor’s with 5+ years experience.
• 1 year software engineering experience with multi-threaded/distributed Java or C++ on Linux.
• Experience with JDBC, SQL and OO design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead on projects and apply engineering best practices.
