Job summary

Lattice’s Infrastructure Platform team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and operate AWS-based cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and internal platforms that empower product engineers to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services.

You will drive platform capabilities, improve reliability, and mentor engineers while partnering with product teams to solve recurring needs. This role requires deep cloud experience and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep AWS experience in production environments.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and system design.
• Experience building internal platforms, developer tooling, or shared services.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform a plus).
• Strong programming skills and ability to debug production systems (TypeScript a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment workflows.
• Experience with observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerting, SLOs).
• Ability to reason across complex systems and understand cross-component interactions.
• Experience leading technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

• Lead technical initiatives from problem definition through delivery and adoption.
• Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and progress to engineering stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers on building reliable, scalable systems.
• Participate in on-call and incident response.

The Infrastructure Platform team focuses on the cloud services, infrastructure, and internal platforms that power Lattice’s products. We build reliable, scalable pathways that make it easier for product engineers to develop, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot their services.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure Platform team, you will work across a broad technical footprint, including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, distributed systems, observability, deployment tooling, and internal developer platforms.

You will use your prior experience to understand how systems and services interact, identify gaps or sources of friction, and build platform capabilities that improve reliability and developer productivity.

Location Requirement: This role is open to candidates located in British Columbia or Ontario, Canada. At this time, we are only able to hire employees residing in these provinces.

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is CAD $123,750 - CAD $165,000. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.
