Senior Software Engineer, Infra

We’re hiring a senior infrastructure engineer to help us shape the future of restaurant tech. You’ll own our infrastructure and platform layers as we build and scale our product, and you’ll shape our engineering and company culture as we grow.

What you’ll do

• Own our infrastructure, including our database, deployments, and data pipelines
• Ensure optimal performance of ad hoc analytical queries
• Maintain our Kubernetes and AWS deployments
• Monitor and manage our background tasks and ETL jobs
• Architect and stand up new infrastructure to meet our scale and product demands
• Set engineering standards, tooling, and culture as the foundation for years of future growth
• Collaborate on roadmap and design decisions with CEO and engineering team

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years as a software engineer
• Experience with relevant technologies: AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, Python/Django, DataDog, IaC, Docker, or other related tech with transferable skills
• Experience with job orchestration for long-running, idempotent tasks
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts and tradeoffs
• Ownership mindset and ability to define engineering milestones and priorities
• Interest in the hospitality, restaurant, or F&B industry
