We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our machine learning platform team. You will help develop Cloudera’s next-generation machine learning and data science platform, focusing on accelerating machine learning from exploration to production. Your role involves ensuring our enterprise product exceeds customer expectations in quality, requiring close collaboration with developers, customers, support, and product management.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Python-based test infrastructure emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Develop test plans & test cases, and write automated tests for new features.
• Collaborate with developers to design testing strategies including functional testing, automation, fault injection, and performance testing.
• Work with development and support teams to triage issues, identify gaps, and address them.
• Build tooling and infrastructure for test automation in collaboration with other teams.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Test Framework development.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience building scalable, robust, and secure enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux system administration.
• Self-driven with strong ownership and craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data science and machine learning tools (R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Spark, Jupyter, Kubeflow).
• Experience with microservices development (Go, gRPC, SQL).
