Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New Jersey is seeking a Software Engineer III to join a seasoned agile team. You will design, develop, and deliver secure market-leading technology products across the trade lifecycle, with a focus on AEM Cloud services and AI-assisted development.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to create scalable, high-performing digital experiences, ensure secure coding practices, and support production readiness in a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools with critical evaluation of outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use and secure handling of data.
• Experience delivering solutions on AEM as a Cloud Service with solid AEM knowledge.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile, CI/CD, security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Builds scalable digital experiences with AEM and cloud services in cross-functional teams.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to enhance value and efficiency.
• Collaborates with a small team and stakeholders to prioritize business needs.
• Writes reusable, testable code and contributes to design and performance optimization.
