Qualifications

• Expertise solving problems by developing software solutions that require innovation.
• Expertise with languages and platforms used by the team: C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Angular, AWS.
• Experience developing software modules or patterns used across multiple teams.
• Experience designing integration tests, leading software releases, and providing ongoing support.
• Experience facilitating Agile software development practices (user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning).
• Experience mentoring and developing others; providing thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Solve difficult problems for the team using software and provide examples of new technology or patterns.
• Release and validate software, developing new deployment patterns as necessary.
• Lead software support, incident resolution and blameless reviews.
• Develop code modules and patterns useful beyond the immediate team.
• Conduct exploratory work to develop prototypes.
• Guide code and design reviews and establish standards.
• Provide software documentation and demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor team members on the above.
• Assist leadership with improving flow by addressing technical debt and process issues.
