Rockerbox is seeking a senior software engineer to design scalable data-driven features for the Rockerbox platform, collaborating with product managers and backend teams to ensure smooth integration with the UI.

You will build and optimize data endpoints, emphasize reliability and performance, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values thoughtful engineering and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript; experience building/ delivering analysis or dashboarding products.
• Expertise in SQL for data querying, analysis, and database interactions.
• Exposure to React in a professional or educational capacity.
• Experience with orchestration, containerization, and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements with product managers, deliver features, and ensure backend/UI integration.
• Design and develop scalable solutions that enhance functionality, data efficiency, and system performance.
• Architect data endpoints using a semantic layer to transform source data into UI-ready structures.
