Job summary

IBM in the United States is seeking a core member of the Product Security Access Management team to design and implement robust access control primitives for users and service accounts, including RBAC and ABAC, across multi-cloud environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, engineering, and security teams to strengthen security posture while delivering a seamless experience for customers. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant software, product and/or security engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
• Experience building and operating large-scale cloud-based systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go or other statically typed languages.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive execution of projects and deploy them to production with a focus on quality and customer impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to secure access management at scale.
• Troubleshoot issues across clouds and perform root-cause analysis.
• Produce clean, well-documented code that adheres to security best practices.
• Deliver value for customers by solving complex IAM challenges.
