Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end outcomes for significant features or systems.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions for complex features, services, or systems balancing simplicity, accessibility, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Translate product and business requirements into clear technical problem statements and execution plans.
• Implement and review code for complex features, ensuring quality and maintainability.
• Lead planning for significant features by breaking down problems, sequencing tasks, and creating realistic estimates.
• Drive quality practices with testing strategies, automation, and reviews to reduce regressions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, reviews, and knowledge sharing; promote inclusive culture.
• Influence cross-team decisions by framing options and tradeoffs for product, design, data, and engineering.
• Contribute to team culture and processes through collaboration and community initiatives.
