In this senior individual contributor role, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, contribute to technical decision-making, and work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.**Responsibilities**- Design, build and maintain high-quality software across multiple services and components. - Produce clear technical designs aligned to RX architecture principles and engineering standards. - Build secure, resilient, observable and maintainable systems that reduce long-term operational cost. - Lead pragmatic technical decision-making, making appropriate trade-offs between speed, quality and sustainability. - Improve test strategy, deployment confidence, code quality and engineering practices across the team. - Own the operational health of services, including monitoring, incident response, post-mortems and remediation. - Work closely with Product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes. - Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.**Requirements**- Experience delivering large, complex, global or multi-tenant production systems. - Strong ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, incremental technical solutions. - Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product development teams. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to engineers, product teams and business stakeholders. - Proven ownership of production services, including reliability, observability, incident response and continuous improvement. - track record of mentoring engineers and improving team engineering capability. - Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, JavaScript or TypeScript, React and SQL/PostgreSQL. - Experience designing, operating and optimising cloud-native applications on AWS, including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS and Elastic Beanstalk.**Work in a Way That Works for You**We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
