Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Brooklyn, OH, with remote options. You will design, implement, and support customer authentication using Transmit Security and Mosaic platforms, building journeys for registration, login, MFA, and account recovery across web and mobile banking apps.

You will integrate APIs, configure adaptive policies, and advance passkeys/passwordless efforts while collaborating with security, fraud, and digital banking teams to deliver secure experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and security certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of software engineering, IAM/CIAM, or authentication experience.
• Experience designing and implementing customer authentication platforms and identity management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement authentication and identity management solutions using Transmit Security and Mosaic.
• Build and maintain customer identity journeys, registration and login flows, MFA enrollment, and account recovery processes.
• Integrate Transmit Security APIs and SDKs into web and mobile banking apps.
• Configure identity orchestration workflows and adaptive authentication policies.
• Support passkeys and passwordless authentication initiatives.
• Collaborate with fraud, risk, cybersecurity, and digital banking teams to enhance security and user experience.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues and production incidents; participate in architecture reviews.
• Create technical documentation, support procedures, and implementation standards.
