Job description

As a Senior ForgeRock Engineer, you will support Humana's Consumer (B2C & B2B) Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform, helping centralize digital identity services. You'll work with ForgeRock/Ping Identity to enhance customer experience, standardize IAM best practices, and ensure compliance with the latest security standards. This role involves guiding the team in design, development, and implementation, while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate across teams to design, develop, and maintain IAM products.
2. Build and maintain frameworks, libraries, reusable components, and REST APIs.
3. Participate in product stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospective meetings.
4. Shape product architecture and technology decisions.
5. Implement continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices.
6. Create and update technical documentation.
7. Lead and mentor developers in best practices and coding standards.

Use your skills to make an impact

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant work experience.
• 5+ years in software development (Java, React, JavaScript).
• 3+ years with ForgeRock (Ping Identity) Identity Platform components.
• Strong leadership experience mentoring software developers.
• Deep knowledge of IAM concepts, including design and migration.
• Experience with OAuth2.0, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, AD).
• Strong communication skills for presenting demos and solutions.
• Proficiency in API Development, ForgeRock Identity Management, IAM, Java, .Net, JavaScript.
• Experience with Ping Identity, SDLC, Technical Leadership, Azure DevOps, Git, RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree.

Work-At-Home Requirements:

• High-speed DSL or cable internet connection required.
• Minimum speed of 25x10 Mbps (download x upload).
• Satellite and Wireless Internet are not permitted.
• Dedicated, interruption-free workspace to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel may be required occasionally for training or meetings.

Additional Details:

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $106,900 - $147,000 per year, commensurate with experience and location. Eligible for bonus incentives.
