Job summary

Taco Bell, part of Yum! Brands, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer I to join our eCommerce team. This hybrid role emphasizes hands-on development, architecture, and mentoring across a fast-growing platform, leveraging Swift, iOS, and cloud-native tech.

You will drive secure, scalable solutions, lead code quality initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of iOS development experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS SDKs.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges, optimize performance, and debug tricky issues.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be a hands-on developer driving software development in a fast-paced environment.
• Architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Set technical standards for code quality, design patterns, and documentation.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
