Taco Bell in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer I (iOS) to contribute hands-on to our fast-growing eCommerce platform. You will work on cutting-edge mobile software across high-scale systems, report to the Sr.

Manager, Software Engineering, and collaborate with a cross-functional team. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in iOS, strong Swift/SwiftUI, AWS familiarity, and a track record of optimizing performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of iOS development with Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS SDKs.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record optimizing app performance and debugging ANRs.
• Experience mentoring juniors and working in agile teams.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Familiarity with AWS managed and serverless technologies.

Responsibilities

• Be a hands-on developer driving software development in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and architect scalable, secure solutions.
• Set technical standards for code quality and architecture.
• Mentor junior team members through code reviews and pairing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and AI tooling integration.
• Help architectural modernization and feature rollout at scale.
