Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking a skilled software developer to join our hybrid, remote-office environment. The role covers design, development, testing and documentation as part of a collaborative team.

You will work with Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) to build flexible, secure software. Expect a strong emphasis on planning, code quality and mentoring peers in a dynamic fintech setting. Salary range shown and eligible for incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically 5+ years in a professional technical environment.
• 4 years of professional software design and development experience.
• Experience with Agile/Lean or Kanban preferred.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git or other source control tools preferred.
• Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop flexible, maintainable solutions following guidelines and standards.
• Solve development problems using solid design principles.
• Review, modify, enhance, and maintain existing systems; fix issues and improve performance.
• Participate in planning and user story analysis with feedback on requirements.

• Keep up to date with tools, technologies, and industry standards through training.
