Walmart Global Tech is hiring a senior full-stack engineer to join the Marketplace Platform team. You will code primarily in Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript/React, owning back-end services and frontend components while collaborating across teams to improve seller tooling and API gateway.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant software development experience in building and maintaining complex systems.
• Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot; TypeScript and React for frontend; strong RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching; Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in cloud-native environments (GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms.

Responsibilities

• Code and build software (75-80% of time); review and debug code; maintain code quality.
• Mentor teammates and participate in continuous learning.
• Make informed architectural decisions and document thoroughly.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to improve user experiences and integrations.
