Job summary

You will work four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo with a flexibility to work from home one day per week, contributing to resilient banking technology within the SDLC and regulatory framework.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with experience developing scalable, high-volume payment applications.
• 5-7 years of experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server, including database design, performance tuning, and complex query development.
• Strong experience in banking payments, including Zelle, RTP, or digital payment processing.
• Hands-on experience designing and integrating SOAP and REST APIs for internal and external payment ecosystem partners.
• Experience supporting mission-critical, real-time payment systems in a 24x7 production environment, with a focus on resiliency, monitoring, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Write code and gather requirements following the SDLC.
• Review pull requests and manage change approvals.
• Deliver organized, secure source code in at least one language.
• Manage code deployments and resolve merge conflicts.
• Analyze requirements for feasibility and accuracy.
• Document and communicate technical details with other teams.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on quality.
• Contribute to architectural discussions for applications.
• Adhere to risk, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
