Job summary

Canary Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Staff Operations team. You will be a strong IC who can handle ambiguity and build quality, maintainable full-stack applications in a fast-growing hospitality tech platform.

Collaborate with Product Managers to inform product decisions, and ship high-quality products that enhance the customer experience. This role rewards initiative, mentoring, and a disciplined approach to operational excellence across our global offices.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in backend/full-stack development.
Proven experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (VueJS/ReactJS).
Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products.
Experience with Mobile or ReactNative is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and managers to build applications used by hoteliers worldwide.
Write clean, self-documenting code following best practices and design patterns.
Provide ideas to improve product and technology.
Think beyond a ticket to delight customers and grow the business.
Mentor teammates and participate in code reviews; advise tech lead on technical decisions.
Be a self-starter who can work with ambiguity and take initiative.
