Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for the AWS Healthcare AI team in Seattle.

You will lead design and implementation of robust distributed systems, applying AI-powered healthcare solutions to improve clinical workflows and patient care. You will mentor engineers, shape product roadmaps with cross-functional partners, and drive architectural decisions that balance scalability, reliability, and delivery timelines in a fast-paced cloud

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Mentor, tech lead or leadership experience within an engineering team.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing platforms; ML concepts familiarity.

Responsibilities

Drive full software development lifecycle and set technical strategy from concept to delivery.
Collaborate with product managers, scientists, engineers to shape roadmaps and architecture.
