AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) seeks a Software Development Engineer to build new v1 services for healthcare AI at Amazon Web Services in Seattle, WA. You will design scalable cloud systems, write high-quality code, and collaborate with product managers, scientists and engineers to deliver impactful healthcare solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software development, experience with design/architecture, and a BS in CS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience with scalable systems
• Experience programming in at least one language

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software systems for healthcare AI services
• Write high-quality, well-tested cloud-based code
• Collaborate with product managers, applied scientists and engineers to implement features
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Help maintain operational excellence and compliance with standards
• Work on data processing, analytics and ML systems for healthcare apps
• Drive continuous improvement through technical discussions
