Job summary
Heartflow, a medical technology leader in cardiovascular care, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement interoperable systems that securely connect hospital EHRs with Heartflow cloud services. You will shape data models, APIs, and architectural decisions across a distributed platform, mentor engineers, and uphold quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience in healthcare interoperability and EHR integration.
- Knowledge of SaMD regulatory considerations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design & Build EHR integration and bridge between on‑premise EHRs and AWS cloud.
- Contribute to the Single Platform vision by data modeling and persistence strategies.
- Own mission-critical data acquisition and ingestion pipelines for patient data.
- Build enterprise-grade APIs using REST, FHIR, and HL7 standards.
- Ensure compliance, security, and regulatory alignment across FDA/HIPAA.
