Job summary

LineVision is a grid-enhancing technology company enabling utilities to deliver affordable, reliable power and accelerate electrification of the global economy. The Senior Software Engineer will join the Applications (LineRate) team to build full-stack systems that turn massive time-series sensor data into ratings our utility customers rely on.

You will work across Python/TypeScript stack, databases, and front-end visualizations in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with React experience.
• Experience with at least one relational and one NoSQL database.
• Experience deploying and operating on a major cloud platform.
• Comfort across the stack from data storage to APIs to UI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists to productionalize core functionality.
• Design and build APIs surfacing data at the right time.
• Design storage/retrieval for massive time-series data.
• Contribute to ratings library, customer product, weather modeling tools, and front-end visuals.
• Advise product on roadmap feasibility and tradeoffs.
