Job summary

Consulting Solutions seeks a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to help build a new product concept through rapid prototyping and POC development. You will create demo applications from scratch, deploy solutions in AWS, and work with a small engineering team through frequent brainstorming, whiteboarding, and demos.

You will contribute across Go and Python backends, cloud infrastructure, and frontend touches when needed.

Senior Software Engineer – Go / Python / AWS

Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid – onsite 3 days/week)

Duration: 6 months, potential extension

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join an innovation-focused team building a new product concept through rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept (POC) development. This role involves building demo applications from scratch, deploying solutions in AWS, and collaborating with a small engineering team through frequent brainstorming sessions, whiteboarding, and demos.

Required Skills & Experience

• Python API development and REST API integrations.
• Hands-on AWS experience, particularly ECS.
• Experience building applications or POCs from scratch and deploying them to the cloud.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to whiteboard, explain technical decisions, and present working demos.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Fargate, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Exposure to AI agents, Amazon Bedrock, or agentic AI frameworks.
• React or Angular experience.

Important: Prior POC/demo application development experience is a key requirement. Candidates must be comfortable with hands-on coding, rapid iteration, and frequent technical presentations.
