Job summary

DigiCert is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer to help build the Quantum Central platform from the ground up. You’ll design APIs, own features end-to-end, and ship software that large organizations depend on to stay secure.

This greenfield role emphasizes AI-assisted development, cloud-native Go and TypeScript services, and a strong focus on PQC readiness, PKI, and cryptographic asset management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in Go for designing and building RESTful services.
• Fluency with AI coding agents and production workflows.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows and LLMs.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Experience with service-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Relational databases experience and SQL optimization.
• Exposure to AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to advocate for AI-first engineering practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding PQC, SSL/TLS, PKI, or cryptographic asset management.
• Experience building multi-agent AI systems or RAG features.

Responsibilities

• Build RESTful, scalable cloud-native services in Go and TypeScript.
• Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and observability.
• Use AI coding agents as a daily, production workflow – fluently and routinely.
• Design and ship software using agentic AI workflows for PQC readiness.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and security researchers.
• Engage leadership to implement industry best practices and drive decisions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and deliver timely solutions.
• Develop deep understanding of PQC, PKI, and cryptographic assets.
