Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior software engineer to provide thought leadership and drive architecture across multi-team initiatives. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to enable rapid, reliable delivery while shaping the technical roadmap.

In this role, you will design and develop software applications, write APIs, lead reviews, and create automated testing and deployment tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with distributed/multi-tier systems and application development.
• Excellent programming skills in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform including GCS, BigQuery, Vertex AI.
• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, and related tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Experience with Maven, Salt, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong architecture design and modeling skills for complex systems.
• Understanding of web technologies including HTTP and Apache.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux.
• Understanding data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of contact center ecosystem/Genesys preferred.
• Experience building AI/ML solutions, TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered apps.
• Vertex AI for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Awareness of responsible AI practices and governance.
• Strong written communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience developing and hosting solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Vertex AI


• Experience with Agile development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery


• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools


• Experience with automated release management using Maven, Salt, Git, and Jenkins


• Strong architecture design and modeling skills for complex systems and architectures


• Understanding of web technologies including HTTP and Apache


• Familiarity with Unix/Linux


• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns


• Knowledge and experience of contact center ecosystem/Genesys Framework and Architecture preferred


• Experience building and integrating AI/ML solutions into production systems


• Familiarity with TensorFlow and PyTorch


• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered application development


• Experience using Vertex AI for model development, deployment, and monitoring


• Awareness of responsible AI practices, including model governance, bias mitigation, and explainability


• Strong written communication, documentation, leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder-influence abilities
