You will own critical services, collaborate with product and partner teams, and drive best practices in code quality, observability, and performance.

The role emphasizes safe integration of AI/ML features, mentoring peers, and delivering scalable solutions for millions of travelers, while meeting high reliability and latency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Ownership of services/components including design, quality, and operations.
• Experience with system design, API design, and data modeling for scalable, reliable systems.
• Experience with microservices, CI/CD, automated testing, and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable, resilient software services and components.
• Lead end-to-end implementation across design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Set engineering best practices for code quality, observability, testing, and performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and partner teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions and manage associated risks.
• Identify, debug, and resolve production issues and reduce operational toil.
