Bloomberg is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the CSP Voice Platform in New York. The role focuses on building and operating a global voice and call center platform that connects clients with support teams around the world, with emphasis on reliability and scalability.

You will contribute to APIs, services, and data pipelines, enabling voice-enabled applications and delivering actionable insights from millions of interactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building large-scale, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• 5+ years of experience with an object-oriented language (C++, Java, Kotlin, or Python).
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering practical, maintainable solutions.
• A passion for ownership, reliability, and building systems that users depend on.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale, highly available, fault-tolerant voice platform components.
• Own end-to-end project lifecycle from idea to production release.
• Develop APIs, services, and infrastructure for voice capabilities.
• Collaborate across distributed teams to improve reliability, observability, and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
