Job summary

Nationwide Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to deliver high-quality software solutions for a Fortune 100 company. You will craft new applications or maintain existing ones, collaborating with business partners to design, develop, test, and deploy secure systems.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment with preferred locations in Columbus, OH or Des Moines, IA, and remote options based on experience.

Qualifications

Two or more years of software engineering, analysis, or related technology experience.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and ability to work in a team environment.
Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze solutions, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy software according to standards and best practices.
Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to protect data and technology solutions.
Use DevSecOps practices, tooling, and techniques.
Drive continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice, and innovation.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables proactively.
