Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Columbus, Ohio for a hybrid role focused on secure technology solutions and enterprise-scale software. You will analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document, and maintain applications with a strong emphasis on collaboration and DevSecOps.

The ideal candidate has experience in Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript and familiarity with OOP, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Harness), and building scalable services.

Formación

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, MIS, or related degree preferred.
• Two+ years of software engineering, analysis, or related technology experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript; knowledge of SDLC.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze solutions, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy software per standards.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout delivery lifecycle.
• Use DevSecOps tooling and techniques; drive continuous improvement and learning.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables; may perform other duties.
