Job summary

Dexian is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions across production environments. You will translate business ideas into working prototypes and production-grade apps using modern cloud-native practices and APIs.

You will evaluate AI platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to governance and risk processes while delivering secure, scalable software powered by LLMs and RAG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering developing web-based or distributed applications.
• Proven experience building software solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, APIs, and cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, large language models, and AI-enabled applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently navigate ambiguity and rapidly learn new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex problems and drive solutions from concept to implementation.

• Design, build, and deploy proof-of-concept and production-ready Generative AI solutions using modern software engineering practices and cloud-native technologies.
• Evaluate, prototype, and validate emerging Generative AI platforms, tools, and vendors to determine their applicability and value for relevant use cases.
• Develop AI-enabled applications and workflows utilizing large language models, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI frameworks, document intelligence, workflow automation platforms, APIs, and cloud services.
• Rapidly transform business ideas into working software solutions through prototypes and technical experiments to demonstrate feasibility.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify high-value opportunities where AI can improve productivity, decision-making, customer service, operational efficiency, or risk management.
• Provide technical input and documentation for governance, risk, compliance, model review, and technology approval processes for AI initiatives.
• Assist project teams in preparing governance documentation, articulating technical approaches, risks, controls, and implementation considerations.
• Conduct research on industry trends, vendor capabilities, and emerging developments in Generative AI, and communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Design and implement integrations between AI platforms, enterprise systems, and cloud services.
• Promote engineering standards, reusable development patterns, and best practices for AI solutions.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and testable code independently.
• Create technical documentation, reference architectures, implementation guidance, presentations, and demonstration materials to facilitate solution adoption and knowledge sharing.
• Present prototypes, findings, recommendations, and roadmaps to stakeholders and senior management.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement of GenAI solutions in production.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory, governance, security, and risk management considerations related to GenAI, and incorporate appropriate controls into designs.
• Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility for evolving responsibilities.
• Adhere to all company policies and ethical standards, acting in the best interests of clients and the organization.
