Job summary

Medsien, based in San Francisco, is a venture-backed healthcare SaaS company expanding its engineering team. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build new applications with full autonomy, contribute to code quality, and help scale our remote care management platform for providers and patients.

You will join a growing team in a fast-paced environment, participate in architecture discussions, and work with leadership to deliver impactful software while enjoying fully remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in building scalable applications.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document new software apps and components.
• Understand how code fits into broader technical and business contexts.
• Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Work on medium to large projects from development to production.
• Research new technologies and prototype ideas.
• Ensure high testability and quality of delivered software.
• Collaborate with Operations to troubleshoot defects.
• Participate in building Scrum processes and agile culture.
