Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer for a remote role supporting EST and CST hours. You will design, build, and ship scalable full-stack applications and mentor teammates in a fast-paced defense and aerospace environment.

You will collaborate across product and engineering teams, apply modern languages and frameworks, drive technical leadership, and contribute to secure, high-quality software ready for testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack web development with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Python, Go.
• Experience with GRPC, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and databases (SQL Server, MongoDB).
• 5+ years with Git and Scrum/Agile processes.

• Design, develop, integrate, test, validate, and maintain full-stack software applications and libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and technical solutions.

What You’ll Bring

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack web development/software engineering with proficiency in the following languages/frameworks:

• 5+ years of experience with databases including relational and/or non‑relational databases such as SQL Server and MongoDB
