John Deere seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end technical excellence for the Operations product at East Moline, IL. You will drive architecture, deliver complex SPA solutions, and mentor teams across React/TypeScript, APIs, and data pipelines.

You will champion automated tests, DevOps practices, and secure coding while collaborating with product, UX, and platform teams to align technical choices with business goals. Senior level with enterprise impact.

Qualifications

• Strong front‑end architecture ownership with production troubleshooting experience.
• Expertise with hooks, context, and advanced state management in React.
• Experience with strong typing, generics, and type‑safe APIs in TypeScript.
• Proficient in automated testing and high test coverage (Jest, RTL, Playwright/Cypress).
• Hands‑on with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments.
• Secure coding practices and dependency hygiene aligned with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end technical excellence of the Operations product and integrations.
• Design, develop, and deliver complex applications that integrate with enterprise platforms.
• Lead solution architecture, code reviews, and ensure maintainable, well‑tested code.
• Define technical strategy with the Software Engineering Manager and drive architecture runway.
• Mentor teammates on system design, debugging, testing, and stack technologies.
• Ensure reliability, automated tests, and DevOps practices; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
