Coinbase is seeking experienced frontend engineers to join our team to develop next-generation crypto products and features. You will help build systems to make cryptocurrency accessible globally.

The Consumer Product Group aims to make the Coinbase retail app the easiest and fastest way to access crypto. Our goal in 2024 is to be the #1 self-custody wallet by MTUs and download share, with products including: Coinbase app, advanced trading, dApps, and staking.

What you'll be doing:

• Design secure, reliable services to integrate with blockchains and add new cryptocurrencies to Coinbase, Pro, and Custody.
• Create a user-friendly interface for digital currency apps, adding functionalities like staking, voting, and prediction.
• Develop infrastructural services ensuring secure storage, accounting, and transactions for customers.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to turn vision into quarterly roadmaps.
• Contribute positively in meetings and foster inclusive interactions.

What we look for in you:

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years building web apps and shipping features using JavaScript and frameworks like React.
• Experience developing and shipping user-facing features with component-based UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end best practices, including performance, security, and usability.
• Experience working with product and design teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in finance or security front-end teams.
• At least 1 year developing React Native mobile apps or migrating native apps to React Native.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your location, the target annual salary ranges from $180,625 to $212,000 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
