Founding Frontend Engineer - AI for Real Estate (Stealth Startup)

Location: Hybrid in NYC

We're building an AI platform to transform how real estate operators and investors interact with property data — blending advanced machine learning with intuitive user experience. As our Founding Frontend Engineer, you'll be the design-forward technical partner to our founding team, turning complex datasets into elegant, high-performing interfaces.

What You’ll Do

• Own the frontend architecture and user experience from 0 → 1
• Build dashboards, visualizations, and real-time tools for multifamily operators and real estate pros
• Collaborate closely with the founding team on product decisions, UX feedback, and customer validation
• Translate backend ML outputs into intuitive, actionable interfaces
• Set the tone for engineering best practices, design systems, and code quality
• 4+ years experience building frontend systems — ideally in startup environments
• Strong command of React and modern JS/TS frameworks
• Experience with data-heavy or dashboard-driven products
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration cycles
• A sharp eye for UX — bonus if you’ve worked closely with designers or have design chops yourself
• Bonus: exposure to real estate tech, PropTech, or B2B SaaS
