Job summary

Octane Lending is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to evolve our core products for dealer and lending services. You will join a full-stack team working with Python, Django, React, and PostgreSQL to build high-performance infrastructure powering nationwide financing transactions.

You’ll mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable software while maintaining speed and quality in a fast-growing marketplace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering high-impact software at scale.
• Deep proficiency in at least one high-level language (Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).
• Experience designing end-to-end technical solutions for complex business problems.
• Thrives in cross-functional, high-trust environments.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Experience developing with AI systems.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
