Job summary

Investure, based in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a software engineer to design and maintain internal tools supporting investment, accounting, reporting, and data analysis workflows. You will work with relational databases, model financial data, and translate user needs into practical tools for non-technical stakeholders.

You will collaborate with senior engineering leadership and cross-functional teams, applying object-oriented design and modern AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience building production software for asset management or related financial domains.
• Proficient in relational data modeling, SQL tuning, and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain software applications supporting investment, accounting, reporting, and data analysis workflows.
• Work with relational databases to model, query, analyze, and transform financial/time-series data.
• Collaborate with investment, accounting, and operations teams to translate needs into executable software.
