Job summary

DRW, a Chicago-based trading firm, is hiring Senior Software Engineers for Treasury and Reference Data teams to build systems that support financing, liquidity and data workflows.

You will design, build, test and own software end-to-end, collaborate with partners to translate business problems into technical plans, and contribute to CI/CD and scalable architectures while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Senior-generalist software engineer with strong fundamentals in scalable systems.
• Experience across full-stack development and modern data platforms.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test firm-wide systems — services, data products, UIs.
• Collaborate with business partners to define clear technical solutions.
• Own software end-to-end after shipping — deploy, operate, on-call.
• Work across greenfield and legacy codebases.
• Build tooling and processes around CI/CD and containerization.
• Mentor and uplift engineering practices across teams.
• Learn and champion new technologies that fit.
