Job summary

Amazon's AWS Field Experience Engineering team is building tools to empower field sales with scalable software and automated processes. The role focuses on full-stack development, API services, and robust data pipelines across Salesforce and AWS-centric tools in a distributed cloud environment.

You will design and implement features end-to-end, mentor engineers, and participate in on-call rotations, contributing to a culture of high autonomy and technical excellence within a global organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years programming in at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement for field sales operations.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines that synchronize account data across systems at scale.
• Drive technical strategy to improve data quality and coverage.
• Build APIs and services that encode operational best practices and reduce manual toil for the field organization.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design through deployment, operating in an agile environment.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and raise the engineering bar across the team.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
