Job summary

Empat delivers full-cycle software development grounded in research, empathy, and technical excellence — from system architecture and engineering to UI/UX and go-to-market. We are deploying an enterprise AI platform for a major US healthcare insurer, with a mid-September delivery target.

The engagement is a contractor, full-time, initial 3 months with potential extension. Location: US preferred; remote candidates with strong FHIR expertise outside the US are welcome.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with FHIR in healthcare.
• Proven ability to build integrations in the healthcare domain.
• Experience with US healthcare insurance or providers is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Build integrations with existing healthcare systems and records.
• Implement and maintain a large number of third-party integrations.
• Customize the Anterior platform for a specific enterprise client.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on a heavily customized deployment.
• Contribute from day one to meet the mid-September delivery deadline.

Project isanAI company inthe Healthcare space. Itisrolling out anenterprise deployment ofitsAI platform for amajorUS healthcare insurance company, with delivery scheduled for mid-September — sowe’re looking for someone who can join quickly and hit the ground running.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building integrations with existing healthcare systems and systems ofrecord;
• Implementing and maintaining alarge number ofthird-party integrations;
• Customising the Anterior platform tothe needs ofaspecific enterprise client;
• Working closely with the engineering team onaheavily customised enterprise deployment (not atypical SaaS rollout);
• Contributing from day one with minimal onboarding tohelp the team meet the mid-September delivery deadline.

What weexpect from you:

• 8–10 years ofcommercial software engineering experience;
• Strong hands-on experience with FHIR;
• Proven experience building integrations inthe healthcare domain;
• Experience withUS healthcare insurance orUS healthcare providers isabig plus;
• Ability toramp upquickly and work independently without along onboarding;
• Advanced English.
