Job summary
Innovative Systems & Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for on-site work in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on developing and enhancing complex software systems for DoD/government customers, with responsibilities spanning design, testing, and performance optimization.

Qualifications
- GhostMachineAnalytics experience and PMR familiarity are required.
- PMR framework knowledge is expected for data processing.
- Experience with AVP process and reporting to AVG is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of JAVA/Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
- Experience with NiFi and Notifier systems.
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira/Confluence).
- GitLab experience is required.
- 14+ years SWE experience in similar scope with degree; or 18+ with substitution.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software for features.
- Debug existing software and integrate into new environments.
- Develop data queries for databases and data repos.
- Provide recommendations to improve docs and standards.
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance standards.
- Assist with testing procedures for components.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Develop software by analyzing performance, users, and flows.
- Serve as team lead appropriate to process in use.

The Senior Software Engineer develops, maintains, andenhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g.,processing-intensiveanalytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large datasets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) basedupon documented requirements.

- Fourteen(14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similarscope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience or related discipline from an accreditedcollege oruniversity is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience onprojects with similar software processes may be substituted for abachelor’s degree.

Salary Range 205-215,000
