Job summary

P17 Solutions is seeking an Adaptation Specialist to support the FAA TFDM Program. The role blends hands-on software development with site-specific configuration, integration, validation, and testing at terminal facilities to enable safe TFDM deployment.

Ideal candidates have V&V experience on FAA/NAS systems and hands-on web/app development using Java, Python, and related technologies, with readiness to travel and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, CS or related field
• 10+ years in aviation systems adaptation and V&V/test engineering
• Experience with FAA TFDM, TFMS, ERAM or SWIM NAS systems
• Hands-on development/testing with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3
• Willingness to travel >50%

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support TFDM software including release management and lab integration
• Support SIT, JSAT, and OT&E activities
• Configure TFDM data pipeline and VM infrastructure
• Lead design and maintenance of internal scenario tools using Java, Python, Maven
• Collaborate with ATC and stakeholders to deploy scenarios and ensure readiness
