Job summary

P17 Solutions in the United States is seeking an Adaptation Specialist to support the FAA TFDM program, combining software development with site-specific configuration, integration, validation, and testing. You will work on TFDM data pipelines, Java/Python apps, SIT/OT&E, and documentation, collaborating with ATC and engineering teams to translate operational needs into deployable configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with FAA TFDM, TFMS, ERAM or SWIM-compliant NAS systems preferred.
• 10+ years in aviation systems adaptation, AV ops, or V&V/test engineering.
• Ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and support TFDM software and related lab activities.
• Support SIT, JSAT, OT&E, and readiness reviews.
• Configure and maintain TFDM data pipelines and VM infrastructure.
• Lead site adaptation, configuration management, and documentation.
