Peraton is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and implementation of decision logic engine updates and consultation package builder enhancements for a federal environmental platform. This fully remote role supports a 12-month program with potential follow-on work, focusing on ESA Section 7 compliance and cross-agency routing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in software development or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience building complex rules engines and regulatory workflows.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or equivalent backend languages.
• Experience with REST API integration to cloud data platforms.
