Job summary

CTG is seeking a Software Engineer-Enterprise Modernization to design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, C/C++, and microservices. Location: Piscataway, NJ. Duration: 12 months.

You will migrate legacy C/C++ toward Java and Linux, build high‑throughput integrations with IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, and collaborate with OSS/BSS, Infrastructure, and Network teams across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience developing and modernizing Enterprise applications.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot and C/C++ expertise, with experience integrating Enterprise applications with messaging platforms, databases, and modern cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernize Enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, C/C++, and microservices.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between OSS and other applications/network elements.
• Analyze and modernize legacy C/C++ applications, transitioning functionality toward Java, Linux, and modern service architectures.
• Develop high-throughput integrations using IBM MQ, Tuxedo, Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, and other messaging technologies.
