Columbia Technology Partners (CTP) is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to advance modernization and productization of a mission-focused software suite intended for broad deployment. The role focuses on removing environment dependencies, enhancing authorization workflows, and supporting key management capabilities in scalable, secure distributed applications.

Ideal candidates have deep Java expertise, modern software practices, and a strong security mindset.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Java and JavaScript.
Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications using modern Java-based technologies.
Support the productization of existing applications by creating reusable, scalable solutions across environments.
Develop and integrate secure services, APIs, and components focusing on authorization and key management.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to meet evolving requirements.
Apply software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.
